Announcing a new meeting for Bay Area Artificial Intelligence Meetup Group!
What: Sunday Matinee, perhaps Artificial Intuition
When: Sunday, May 11, 12:00 PM
Where: Click the link below to find out!
Meeting Description: I have a 30 minute long AI related video to show that illustrates certain aspects of how AI research in the US is done. We can debate the issues raised and the responses given for as long as we want afterwards.
I was asked earlier to repeat my talk about Artificial Intuition since we have many new members that have not heard it; I could do that in the last hour if we get bored debating the issues in the video.
Two weeks later (May 25) I'm planning to do the first couple presentations of an extended inventory of AI in the US. I need more volunteers to each research and present an "effort" (institution, company, project, nonprofit, or individual) doing something AI related at a future date. You can choose your own (please coordinate with me) or ask me for an assignment. I expect to do about 3 of these per meeting at about 20 minutes each, followed by 1 hr discussion. If you haven't done a presentation at the Meetup yet, here's your chance. If you volunteer today, you'll have at least 4 weeks to research and prepare.
