Hi Junling,
I'm afraid I committed to give a talk prematurely only to realize that the next meeting is on May 6 which is my mom's birthday. We are planning a party for her that day and hence I have a schedule conflict. If you don't mind, can I reschedule my talk for another date?
I am available on the next scheduled meetup on 5/27. However I want to point out that that Sunday happens to be on Memorial weekend and many people may not be able to attend. If you decide to proceed with that meeting date and want me to present, I will. Again I apologize for not checking my calendar first before commiting.
btw, I enjoyed today's meetup. I wish I had more time to speak with you and I am sorry that I was not able to say goodbye-- you were not in the room when I left.
