I'm planning to use the poll feature of this site to help determine what to discuss at the meetups. Here's how it could work:

- Anyone that wants to can either post a message here or email me and suggest a topic for discussion. I'll also ask for topics at the meetups. If we only get a few suggestions, I'll make an executive decision about a week before the meetup and declare that the topic. You all know how much that is worth - If you want to talk about something else, you will.

- If I get enough topic/speaker suggestions I'll open a poll (see left margin) and I'll use the results of the poll to determine what we'll do.

- Note that the suggestions don't need to be specific. If we get a few requests for, say, "Gaming AI", "Robotics", "Walking", "Language Generation", "History of AI", or the like we'll do something based on that, and a general request for a field from a few of you could easily crystallize into an effort to get a specific speaker representing that field.

I may put up some strawman polls just to see how it works out.
